Description:
Looking down the Yukon River at the sand bluff where Boulder Creek flows into the Yukon on a spring dog mushing trip from Eagle, Alaska heading down the Yukon River. Better trails were off the river to avoid rough ice conditions and to provide shelter from the wind, which could blow snow over the trail, and to shorten the distance by cutting off large bends.
