Nichole Hanshaw

Born and raised in Selawik, Alaska, Nichole Hanshaw works as a Refuge Information Technician for the Selawik National Wildlife Refuge. She is based at their field office in Selawik, where she works as a liaison with the local community regarding susbsistence harvesting, wildlife observations, hunting regulations, school programs, and oversees the annual science-culture camps that the refuge sponsors. She participated in some of the oral history interviews and completed some of the transcripts for the Selawik National Wildlife Refuge Project Jukebox.
