Rory Karstens

Rory Karstens is the son of Eugene Karstens and the grandson of Harry Karstens, who was a mountain climber and the first superintendent of Mount McKinley National Park (now Denali) from 1921-1928. Rory was present during the interview with his father, Eugene, on June 24, 1992 conducted by Mike Sfraga for the Denali Mountaineering Project Jukebox. At the time, Rory was working on a biography of his grandfather, who was the subject of the interview.
