Airplane on Lake Clark

Description:

Jim Kennedy with his Aronca Sedan airplane in front of Old Nondalton, 1943. Standing behind Kennedy, from left to right are: Bill Wilson, Pete Koktelash, and Jimmy Balluta. Jim Kennedy didn't have a plane when he first came to Lake Clark in 1935, but he eventually became the first resident bush pilot on Lake Clark. Antone Balluta helped Kennedy build the cabin that eventually became Babe and Mary Alsworth's first home.
